Maybe you've heard of the park where Marvin lost his helmet. This is it, Polson, MT. An interesting feature.

The park itself is fun to ride. It accommodates beginners as well as advanced skaters.

My one BIG complaint is the positioning of the door. For me it renders 2 corners useless for carving. And as for advanced skaters, once they make it over it then what? While not rendering them useless it nonetheless limits your lines thru them.

The other complaint I have is the gravel field surrounding it. Since they allow bikes in the park, the bikes pick up rocks from the gravel field and deposit the rocks in the park. Makes for quick stops.

Klik on Dan's skate page for a link to his panos of the park.

The shallow area

Ping layback in the Helmet. He always was a fan of Marvin. Check out a quicktime mov of him riding it here.

And Dan going over the Door!!!

And after you've worked up a sweat, enjoy good BarBQue with a great view at:

Oops, forgot the street area.
