| After driving all day and skating two parks it was
reaffirming to discover that the directions to this park as I copied
them down did not lead to the park. GPS coordinates would have been
greatly appreciated.
After finding the park, I wandered around watching the little rippers hard at play. This sure looked like a fine park. |

| As I headed out to the car to get my pads I met Mark
Winklaar and found out one of the rippers was his son Logan. Mark was
working on a plan to get some of the local kids entered in the Concrete
Rodeo series that summer. And from what I hear his team rode Hailey
like men! Way to go Mark! The kid's name in the first picture is Ricky
Rossi. He got 4th overall in the jousting finals competing in a heat
with the top 16 skaters at Hailey, ID.
Unfortunately I talked more than skated, but this is a good park. If you find yourself in the area hit it. Here is a video of Mark Winklaar riding it. |
